Obviously the comfort of shoulder straps of lingerie in the 1940s left a little to be desired.
These "Shoulder comforts" are 11cm long, 2.5cm wide, are made of several layers of material, pink and silky on the top, ivory and smooth on the bottom , and indeed, do feel like they would be rather comfortable.
On the top are clips to feed the offending shoulder straps through and hold them in place.
